ATTN Barber Applicants: Written (theory) exam candidates must comply with the attire requirements outlined on page 5 of the Practical Exam Student Handbook until further notice.

The (MSBCB) adopted and filed NEW rules and regulations with the Secretary of State. The MSBCB is operating under these rules and regulations on a temporary basis effective March 25, 2025, for the next 120 days. You may view the rules and regulations here.

The MSBCB invites your comments or questions regarding the rules and regulations for the next twenty-five (25) days. Please send comments and/or questions by email to executivedirector@msbc.ms.gov or by mail to the Board office on or before May 2, 2025.

Due to construction congestion, visitors and testing applicants at the Robert E. Lee Building in Jackson may park only on the 7^th floor (roof level) of the garage behind the building or on the street.  Parking in any reserved spot may result in a ticket or vehicle being towed.
